Sega rewards its gamers.
As a special present to shoppers who purchased a Sega Saturn or Saturn software from retailers after December 16. Sega gave them a demo disc of the critically acclaimed 3D Saturn title, NiGHTS and added a Christmas twist to the gift.
Sega Ozisoft Marketing Manager Sarah Joseph explained, "Christmas NiGHTS is a magical experience for all the family to enjoy during the festive season. If you set your time clock on the Saturn and ensured you had the correct date programmed into the system - in the lead-up to Christmas, more of the game was revealed, culminating in a magical scene on Christmas Eve. On the final day the scenery epitomised the mystique of the festive season, and there was a pop rendition of Jingle Bells in Cybersound to bring the merriment of Christmas to Life."
Sounds like fun. Anyone try it?
RealAudio Player and Player Plus version 3.0 have shipped
Real Audio gets better all the time, I thought 2.0 was great but RealAudio 3.0 supports broadcast-quality audio, including stereo at 28.8 Kbps and near-CD quality audio at ISDN (I'll take their word for it). Platform support includes Microsoft Windows 95 and 3.1, Macintosh PowerPC and 68040, and many flavors of UNIX.
If you pay your money, you get the full-featured RealAudio Player Plus, with a nifty interface and the option to record to disk (very useful if you want to do demo's from a local hard drive). It costs $30 US (but you also get a free T-shirt in January!)You can download RealAudio 3.0 from the Web site: http://www.realaudio.com
You can order and download the RealAudio Player Plus online at: http://www.realaudio.com/plus/index.html
