Tybalt takes aim at the fleeing Montagues.
The gunsight was completely synthesised - I was pleased that we could
create such an optical look.

As Mercutio dies, the storm breaks.
At left, the original untouched scan from 35mm negative, & below the final - balanced for colour and contrast, with our stormy sky and shadows on the sea added

Romeo drives headlong into traffic in pursuit of Tybalt.
This shot began as an over-lit bluescreen, we made up a background from traffic out-takes, then re-lit Romeo foreground to simulate oncoming headlights.








Tybalt flees, Romeo gives chase and calm returns to Sycamore Grove.
As the end of a transition from day to night, this is a digital matte painting made up from daytime shot with light sources and nighttime shadows added.




All images created on Flame software running on Silicon Graphics Onyx computer.
