I'd been trying to take pictures of the countryside as we flashed past it on the bus, and in the moments in between, but I'd given up. While we travelled slowly along most roads, the camera gave me lots of delayed full frame images of trees. Trying to find a little time to ourselves, and not being big on ceramics, the Deruta day looked like a good time to take a walk. We left early, heading down the hill on a back road from Montefalco to Bevagna.
